Walkathon Amal Jaya 2008

Sekolah Nusa Jaya telah mengadakan walkathon Amal Jaya 2008 yang telah berlangsung pada 16hb Mac 2008 bertempat di Dewan Sukan Tutong dan berjaya mengumpulkan kira-kira BND$13,000. Sebahagian hasil dari kutipan ini di derma kepada tabung anak-anak yatim Daerah Tutong yang telah di terima oleh Pemangku Pegawai Daerah Tutong.

Pemangku Pegawai Daerah Tutong, Awg Hj Muhammad Suffian Bin Hj Bungsu, menerima sumbangan derma bagi anak-anak yatim Daerah Tutong.

Movie Competitions

Iron Man / Indiana Jones Movie Competition

In conjunction with the release of the two upcoming blockbusters, Iron Man and Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, The Mall Cineplex gave away 5 exclusive Iron Man / Indiana Jones calendars, including 5 twin seat passes to watch any movie! All Simpur visitors needed to do was email us the answers to simple Iron Man/Indiana Jones-related questions before 9am, 26th February 2008. All correct entries were included in a draw to win the merchandise. The Lounge Members who participated were automatically given two chances in the final draw, which was held live on KRISTALfm (90.7) and on our KRISTALfm Studio Webcam on Wednesday, 27th February 2008 at 1.15pm. Simpur would like to take this oppurtunity to thank The Mall Cineplex for sponsoring all the prizes, and KRISTALfm for broadcasting the draw live on air. Congratulations to the following winners.. 24th National Day Celebration.

On 23rd February 2008, managed to watch the 24th National Day Parade/Celebration held at Taman Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddin and took few photos.. It is lucky for me that I came back from KL on 22nd February, a day before the celebration. Click photo above for more photo of the event.

2 Day Seminar in KL

20th-21st February - Attend Seminar in KL. The Seminar start from 9.00am ( 8.30am - tea time) and finish at 5.00pm. The event took place at JW Marriot Hotel at Bukit Bintang. So in the evening I walk around Bukit Bintang area. I am not sure if anyone of you out there had try walking from Bukit Bintang to KLCC. Actually it's not far, we can just walk from Bukit Bintang. Don't have to take taxi... no wonder the 1st time I came to KL (7 years ago) the taxi driver don't want to take us from KLCC to our hotel in Bukit Bintang coz it's near enough where we can walk.

I also went to Linda Onn's restaurant which locate at Bukit Bintang and eat set of Nasi Ayam. The chicken test ok but I love the soup....

My Mom's Chicken Rice - belong to Linda Onn located at Bukit Bintang.

Nazmi contribute mini flag

22nd February 2008, Nazri Ahmad of Nazmi Textile distribute more than 300 mini flag to the public in conjunction with the 24th Brunei National Day Celebration for 3days.
